Tony Shahan, Executive Director of the Newlin Gristmill, will explore the History of Milling in the Mid-Atlantic.

Mills have been pivotal in the development of agriculture, entrepreneurship, and commerce. Come hear how the many mills of our area have influenced growth.

Tony Shahan has been working with the restoration and operation of historic grist mills since 1992. He is a graduate of the College of the Ozarks and the University of Delaware History and Museum Studies programs.
