Heritage Trees at Scott Arboretum Guided Tour

Thursday, October 23

On Thursday, October 23, we will join a guide from Scott Arboretum and Gardens at 1:30 for a tour of the heritage trees on the College campus. The tour is expected to last 60-90 minutes. There will be some elevation changes as we walk. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about these trees from the experts, what role they play in the overall arboretum landscape, and what makes them so special and worth preserving. In preparation you may access a brief preview including information on what makes a tree a heritage tree by going to this link on the Arboretum website:

We will meet at the Arboretum office at 500 College Avenue at 1:30 sharp. There are bathrooms at the office but none on the trail. Parking is sparse. Meet at the clock at the train station at 1:00 if you would like to walk up through the campus as a group. Questions contact Beth Lawn
