Join us this Wednesday for an introduction to one of Delaware County’s best kept secrets: the Franciscan Spiritual Center of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. Director Julie Prey, MDiv, will introduce you to the activities of the FSC, which are for everyone of any faith (or no particular religion). Learn a little bit about the history of the Sisters and their life at the convent and beyond. Julie will also touch on the link between aging well and spirituality, using Anna I. Corwin’s “Embracing Age: How Catholic Nuns Became Models of Aging Well” as a resource.
