Join us for lunch (12:00 – 1:30 pm) and our one brief business (+fun) meeting of the year. There will be time for visiting in addition to a slide show from the past year.
Our short business agenda will include voting for directors for our Board and voting on a By-laws change which is listed below.

NOTICE TO THE MEMBERSHIP:
The SSCA Board proposes a change in the wording of Article IX of the By-Laws.
Current Wording of Article IX, item 2:
“2. The financial data in the annual report shall be audited by a certified public accountant prior to its dissemination to the members of the Association.”
Proposed new wording:
“2. The financial statements included in the annual report shall be compiled by a certified public accountant prior to its dissemination to the members of the Association.”
The rationale for the change is simply that we feel an audit would be an expensive and unnecessary process, a process that as best we can tell has never been done in our association, and the financial reports are compiled by our CPA. So we are proposing a change in the wording so that the bylaws accurately describe current practice.
