“Philadelphia: The Great Experiment”

We’ll watch the final two episodes of “Philadelphia: The Great Experiment”, a series which depicts our city’s evolution through four centuries of triumph and failure. The episode “The Fight (1965-1978)” covers the Bicentennial, Frank Rizzo, the Broad Street Bullies and Rocky. The final episode, “Breakthrough (1978-1994)”, shows years of economic decline and rebirth, the rise of African-American political power, and of skyscrapers, and the movement known as Move.
